PITTSTON — The First Congregational Church of Pittston, Conservative Congregational Christian Church, 21 Arnold Road, will celebrate its 200th anniversary during an event at 2 p.m. today.
Guest speakers will include the Revs. Richard Freeman, Paul Heath and Ted Chaffe. The Rev. Philip Webster will give an anniversary sermon.
There will be singing by the choir and congregation.
Pamphlets with information about the church’s history will be available. Refreshments will be served. An offering will be taken to benefit Chrysalis Place.
