WAYNE — Cary Memorial Library will open an exhibit of quilts from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Williams House.

The exhibit features a collection of quilts, including redwork, family heirlooms and more, and stories to accompany them.

Fabric art panels created by textile artist Joan Chellis of Wayne will be for sale. Priscilla Stevenson’s book about her 1926 redwork quilt, “Safe in a Box in the Attic,” will also be available.

Coffee, tea and cider will be served.

The exhibit will also be open noon-4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.
