Now is a good time to say thank you to all those who chose to run for office regardless of their goal, position or philosophy.
They took the time to step up, get involved. They got off the couch and participated in an effort to make things work, to make things better.
They each worked countless hours, reaching out in an effort to gain a position, where they would knowingly be overworked, underpaid and underappreciated, in the interest of a better community and nation.
Hats off and a hearty thank-you to all of them.
