ORLANDO — Maine-ly Harmony women’s a cappella barbershop chorus will compete at the Harmony, Incorporated international competition in Orlando on Saturday.

Choruses and quartets from all over the United States and Canada will take part in the competition. The group Sister Act, which features Maine-ly Harmony members Andrea and Amanda Hutchings, will perform in the quartet competition.

Upon their return, the chorus plans several upcoming performances. These include the Gardiner tree lighting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1; A Maine-ly Harmony Christmas at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 209 Eastern Ave., Augusta; and a show for the veterans at Togus on Wednesday, Dec. 19.
