Before we enjoy our Thanksgiving dinner, and we say a prayer of thanks for all our blessings, we should add a prayer for all our young men and women who cannot be there with us.

We all feel these losses, in some cases more than others.

I am sure many military people are feeling alone this year, even if they are surrounded by others. After all, home is where the heart is, and each and every one of them would rather be home for Thanksgiving.

All of us who can should give a call to our loved ones on this Thanksgiving Day.
