Gardiner
Nov. 20
Victor Brown, 51, of Hartford, Conn., was arrested on a charge of felony theft after police stopped for a motorist assist on Interstate 295. Police conducted a consent search during the stop and, according to a report, found items stolen from Best Buy stores in Augusta, Portland and Newington, N.H. The value of the stolen goods was roughly $4,000.

At 6:41 p.m., Jonathan Barber, 23, of Wayne, was arrested on warrants charging failure to appear and unpaid restitution. Barber was arrested during a traffic stop on Main Street for a faulty plate light.
