Holiday shopping is in full swing. Parents, grandparents and others are looking for the perfect present for a child on their list.

Children learn through play, and they learn by example. Toy choices are many and the choice to buy peaceful toys is ours, although it appears to be more difficult with each passing year.

Violent toys and video games contribute to a culture of violence. Non-violent toys encourage children to build, rather than destroy. Peaceful toys teach cooperation and problem-solving rather than promoting aggression and bullying behaviors.

Violence is not fun!

When making our choices for gifts this year, we can help build a better world by choosing peaceful toys.
