AUGUSTA — Maine Parent Federation and the Maine Department of Education will offer a series of workshops for educators and parents of children with disabilities who are receiving special education services.

The Parent Leadership Series will consist of six workshops providing information on different laws that impact children with disabilities, ways to resolve parent-school conflict, developing advocacy skills, and more.

The first session will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3 at Gilbert Elementary School. Sessions will conclude in March.
