WATERVILLE — Parking is prohibited on city streets between midnight and 6 a.m. Saturday through April 1. Parking is also prohibited in municipal lots when designated by signs. During and immediately following snowstorms, it is important for drivers entering and leaving the concourse to check for signs indicating that parking is prohibited due to snow removal operations.
The Police Department will issue reminders for vehicles parked on the roadway for several weeks, to educate residents about the ordinance. However, if there is a snowstorm requiring Public Works to respond, vehicles parked on the street could be ticketed and if necessary, towed.
