AUGUSTA — Barbara L. Goodwin, an attorney who recently joined the Augusta law firm of Lipman & Katz, was elected president of the Kennebec County Bar Association.

The election of officers was held at the annual meeting of the association, which is a group the county’s attorneys and judges.

Other officers elected are Megan Hanley, vice president; James L. Lawley, secretary; and Dennis Carrillo, treasurer.

Goodwin has practiced employment law in Maine for more than 15 years, according to an announcement from Lipman & Katz.
