AUGUSTA — The University of Maine at Augusta Jazz and Contemporary Music Program has announced its schedule of Concert Week performances.

* In Tones Vocal Ensemble, directed by classical vocalist Tim Johnson, will perform jazz, folk, popular and classical selections tonight.

* On Wednesday, the Large Jazz Ensemble, led by Tim Weir, will perform new and old jazz in the Big Band tradition, and the Progressive Rock Ensemble, led by Scott Hughes, will perform rock and jazz styles.

* On Thursday, SONIC UMA will present a two-act performance of artistic explorations in contemporary rock, jazz, and new classical, with student and faculty composers. The first act will be led by Sean Morin and feature contemporary sounds and the second act, led by Richard Nelson, will feature sonic explorations.

* Fusion Ensemble, led by saxophonist David Wells, will give a jazz-rock-funk fusion and Friday.

* Envok, a vocal ensemble led by Marcia Gallagher, and Jazz on Tour, led by jazz drummer Steve Grover, will perform on Saturday.
