A lot has been said about the Capitol City Rifle and Pistol Club trying to get rid of the kids who use its ranges. This isn’t true; no one wants to get rid of this program, but the way its management does things needs to change.

I would like to share a few bits of information about the Capitol City Rifle and Pistol Club and the Capitol City Junior Rifle Club. These clubs are separate from each other; the Junior Rifle Club is run as a for-profit enterprise by Julian Beale. Capitol City Rifle and Pistol Club is a not-for-profit club run and looked after by volunteers.

The problems that have arisen lately actually have been going on for some time. For years, the junior program has used the club without any liability insurance to cover the kids or the club. If there had been an accident, the club could have easily gone under.

Every problem that Capitol City Rifle and Pistol Club has ever had can be traced back to the management of the junior program.

They claim someone wants to do away with it every time they don’t get what they want. They only take from the club; they rarely give anything back.

Now they are spreading lies and discontent trying to get their way and enlist the help of those who are easily lead and willing to follow.
