AUGUSTA — A Waterville man was convicted of domestic violence assault early Monday following a non-jury trial in Kennebec County Superior Court.

JP Moss, 32, was sentenced to six months in jail, with all but five days suspended, and one year probation. He also was banned from contact with the woman who was the victim.

The offense occurred July 7 in Winslow.

In a separate hearing, Jessamyn M. Ouellette, 19 of Litchfield, pleaded guilty to allowing a minor to consume liquor, on July 21 in Winthrop. He was fined $300.
