BANGOR — Bangor authorities have released the name of the man stabbed to death late last month.
Police say 34-year-old Jeffrey Leblanc was stabbed once in the abdomen at a city home at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
He was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Maine State Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death a homicide.
The stabbing remains under investigation and no arrests have been made, although police think Leblanc was stabbed by someone he knew. Police are appealing to the public for information.
