PITTSFIELD — The Pittsfield Library recently celebrated New Year’s Eve with Food for Fine Forgiveness Day. Library patrons were able to clear their library fines and start 2013 with a clean library record by bringing in food donations. The library collected more than 100 non-perishable food items to donate to the Pittsfield Food Pantry.
Story time will resume at 10:15 a.m. Monday at in the Warren Community Room. Children ages infant through Pre-K can explore the world through stories, crafts, music and dance. January themes include polar bears, snowflakes and snowmen.
Book Discussion Group will meet from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday for a discussion of culinary-themed literature.
