AUGUSTA — Literacy Volunteers of Greater Augusta will offer an introduction to its organization and programs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at their office, 12 Spruce St., Suite 2.
Volunteers interested in continuing with the full tutor training workshop will meet from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12. A donation of $10 to cover the cost of the book and materials is suggested for those completing the workshop. Teaching experience is not necessary.
