NORTH ANSON — Carrabec High School students will compete in a school-wide poetry competition, Poetry Out Loud, at 8 a.m., Thursday at the school.
This event is free and open to the public. Students at Carrabec High School have already competed in class competitions and the winners from each class will compete at the event. A panel of qualified judges will chose one winner to go on to compete at the regional level in Ellsworth.
