FARMINGTON — The Mt. Blue boys basketball team outscored Skowhegan by four points in the fourth quarter and overtime to earn its first win of season, 46-54 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Friday night.

Kindle Bonsall had 16 points, 11 rebounds and four steals for Mt. Blue (1-11). Drew Parsons added 10 points and Brad Durrell had nine points and seven rebounds.

Patrick Poirier had 17 points and Eli Holland 11 for Skowhegan (1-11).

Messalonskee 49, Erskine 38: Jordan Holmes scored 12 points in the fourth quarter as Messalonskee won at home.

Messalonskee (6-6) took control of the game in the fourth, holding Erskine (1-6) to just four points.
Holmes finished with a game-high 22 points, while Nick Mayo added 10.

Caleb McGuire had 18 points and Devin Duncan 10 for Erskine (1-10).

Valley 86, Rangeley 23: Carrington Miller finished with 18 points, six assists and six steals to lead the Cavaliers to the Western D victory in Bingham.

Dylan Belanger also had a big game, posting eight points, five assists and five steals.

Josh West scored a game-high 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Cavaliers (10-2) as well. ‘
AJ Elms scored nine points to pace the Lakers (2-10).

Lawrence 60, Brewer 51: Mason Travers scored a game-high 16 points to lead the Bulldogs to a KVAC A win over the Witches in Fairfield.

Spencer Carey added 15 points, while Xavier Lewis scored 14 points for Lawrence (10-2).

Brewer (6-6) was led by Matt Pushard with 15 points.

Girls basketball

Monmouth 62, Carrabec 25: Sierra Spencer scored 21 points and Kylie Kemp added 13 to lead the Monmouth to an MVC win.

Danielle Bumann scored eight points while Daisi Poole and Melissa Brassard each added six to pace Monmouth (8-3).

Jessica Vaillancourt scored 13 points to lead the Cobras (5-7).

Rangeley 63, Valley 30: Blayke Morin scored a team-high 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Lakers beat the Cavaliers in Bingham.

Seve Deery-DeRaps and Taylor Esty each added 13 points for Rangeley (9-1) and Jenney Abbott added eight points and 10 rebounds.

Teagan Laweryson scored a game-high 15 points to pace the Cavaliers (4-8).

Boothbay 42, Mt. Abram 38: Mikayla Luce hit a pair of 3-pointers and Tori Beane scored five points in the fourth quarter as the Roadrunners rallied, but they couldn’t finish the comeback and lost an MVC game to the Seahawks in Salem.

Luce finished with 13 points and Beane had nine for Mt. Abram (6-7).

Allison Carbone-Crocker had 13 points and Sarah Caron had 11 for Boothbay (11-2).

Madison 50, Wiscasset 38: Bronte Elias had 13 points and 13 rebounds as the Bulldogs won an MVC game in Wiscasset.

Sam Bruce scored a game-high 19 points for Madison (11-2).

Heidi Pinkham and Kasey Cromwell each had eight for Wiscasset (2-10).
