WISCASSET — The Chewonki Foundation has announced its activities and programs available during winter vacation week, Feb. 18-22.
* A Winter Family Day will take place from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18. There will be snowshoeing, animal tracking, pizza making and an animal adaptations presentation. The cost is $35 for an adult and child and $10 per additional child or $37 for day camp children attending without an adult.
* Winter Vacation Camp for children in first through fifth grade will take place 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19-Friday, Feb. 22. The cost is $37 per day with a 10% discount for children who sign up for all four days.
* A Toboggan Building Workshop for children in fifth-eighth grade will take place Tuesday, Feb. 19-Friday, Feb. 22. The cost is $210, which includes an overnight event on Thursday.
Activities will take place on the campus and in the Chewonki Center for Environmental Education, 485 Chewonki Neck Road. For more information, call 882-7323.
