Police respond to attempted suicide

WATERVILLE —  Police and rescue workers responded to Oak Street around 3 p.m. Tuesday after a man attempted suicide by jumping off a third floor balcony, according to Deputy Police Chief Charles Rumsey.

He was taken by Delta Ambulance to MaineGeneral Medical Center’s Thayer Campus, Rumsey said.
