Four new members were elected recently to the MaineGeneral Health board of directors.

Dr. David Hay, of Rome, a gastroenterologist, was elected by MaineGeneral’s active medical staff as their at-large representative. Other new members include Mark Johnston, of Manchester, president and CEO of Kennebec Savings Bank; attorney James LaLiberty, of Waterville; and Gary Peachey, of Augusta, president of Peachey Builders.

At the same meeting, William Sprague, of Manchester, president of real estate broker Sprague & Curtis, was elected board chairman. Sprague succeeds attorney Robert Marden, of Oakland, who had been chairman for the past two years.
