AUGUSTA — A Litchfield man was sentenced Friday in Kennebec County Superior Court to three years in jail with all but six months suspended and two years of probation after pleading guilty to four charges.
Jeffrey McKechnie, 33, formerly of Augusta, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, violating conditions of release, and obstructing government administration, which occurred Dec. 13 in Randolph; and a separate count of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs from Nov. 11 in Gardiner.
He also was fined $800.
