Local students named to fall dean’s list

HAMDEN, Conn. — Two local students, Bethany Elwell of Augusta and Aldo Servello of Belgrade, were named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at Quinnipiac University.

Fekete completes Cape Town project

WORCESTER, Mass. — Juliana Fekete of Belgrade, Maine, a junior majoring in biomedical engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, recently completed an intense, hands-on research project.

Fekete’s project, titled “Establishing a Maitland Garden Village Help Centre,” was completed in Cape Town, Africa.

Bryant University names dean’s students

SMITHFIELD, R.I. — Two local students have been named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at Bryant University.

They are Stephanie Paradis of Litchfield, Maine, a freshman management major, and Jamie Pepin of Augusta, Maine, a senior majoring in accounting.

Barrows named to president’s list

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Caitlynn M. Barrows of Augusta, Maine, has been named to the fall 2012 semester president’s list at Western New England.

Barrows is a sophomore majoring in neuroscience.

Keene State College names dean’s students

KEENE, N.H. — Three local students have been named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at Keene State College.

They are Grace Elizabeth Lemieux of Winthrop, Rebecca Lynn Polzella of Chelsea and Taran Jacob Hunter Wilson of Hallowell.

White, of Augusta, named to dean’s list

WORCESTER, Mass. — Clarista White of Augusta, Maine, has been named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at Becker College.

Dresden student studies abroad

CANTON, N.Y. — Kyle P. Blanchette of Dresden, Maine, is participating in St. Lawrence University’s International Study Program for the spring 2013 semester.

Blanchette, a member of the class of 2014, is studying in New Zealand at the University of Otago. He is a graduate of Hall-Dale High School.
