AUGUSTA — Capital Area Technical Center has announced its January, 2013 Students of the Month.
Caleb Buck is a senior from Winthrop High School enrolled for the second year in the Plumbing and Heating program. Next year, Buck plans on pursuing the plumbing and heating trade by enrolling in a postsecondary institution or working in an apprenticeship program.
Ashley Coulombe is a junior from Monmouth Academy enrolled in the Early Childhood Occupations program. Coulombe has worked in the center’s nursery school and has had placements at The Children’s Center and Hussey School. She plans to attend a postsecondary institution and become a teacher.
Rowan Alexander is a senior from Cony High School enrolled in the Automotive Collision Technology program for the third year. He spends much of his day placed in a Cooperative Education experience at Caron’s Collision Repair Center. After graduation, he hopes to be employed in the automotive collision industry.
