SABATTUS — Zachary Fisher of Sabattus, a tenor from Oak Hill High School, has been selected to perform in the National Association for Music Education All-Eastern Honors Ensemble Mixed Chorus in Hartford, Conn.

Fisher is active in theater and has had lead roles at Oak Hill High School, for Monmouth Community Players, Lewiston-Auburn Community Little Theater and Fiddlehead Theater, and has represented Oak Hill High School at district and state music festivals. He is the son of Tammy Fisher.

Fisher’s music teacher, John Neal, will help him prepare music to be performed during the event. Students will spend three days rehearsing with a conductor during the Eastern Division Conference of The National Association for Music Education in Hartford in preparation for performances on April 7 at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, Mortensen Hall, Hartford, Connecticut.
