Home invasion suspect arrested

UNITY — State Police say the man wanted in connection with a Unity home invasion last week was arrested Sunday afternoon.

Danny Green, 27, a transient from the Waterville area, was arrested at the home of a friend in Winslow by Trooper Bethany Robinson, according to Steve McCausland, spokesman for the Department of Public Safety.

The arrest was made without incident. Green was taken to the Waldo County Jail in Belfast.

Three others have already been charged.

Green and the three others are charged with breaking into the home of a Unity woman and robbing her of money. The intruders were also seeking drugs.

IN ANSON, Saturday at 6:51 p.m., police were sent to a call on Pease Hill Road.

IN BINGHAM, Saturday at 6:13 p.m., fire units extinguished a structure fire on Murray Street.

IN CLINTON, Saturday at 2:54 p.m., a report of a theft was investigated on Bush Road.

8:49 p.m., a domestic disturbance was reported on Pleasant Street.

8:50 p.m., peace reportedly was restored following a report of a domestic dispute on Pleasant Street.

IN EAST MOXIE GORE, Saturday at 10:23 a.m., someone was taken to the hospital following a snowmobile accident on Shirley Tote Road. The Maine Warden Service responded, as did West Forks Rescue and Upper Kennebec Valley Ambulance Service. A Waterville Rescue unit later picked up the patient.

IN EMBDEN, Saturday at 3:18 p.m., a county deputy was called to assist another agency on Mill Road.

IN HARTLAND, Saturday at 11:46 p.m., a report of suspicious activity was investigated on Hawk lane.

IN MADISON, Saturday at 12:52 p.m.,  report of a disturbance was investigated on Main Street.

3:19 p.m., a report of a disturbance was investigated on Oak Street.

5:40 p.m., a report of an assault was investigated on Oak Street.

6:17 p.m., police investigated a shots-fired complaint on Old Point Avenue.

Sunday at 10:37 a.m., police were called to assist another agency on Spruce Street.

IN ST. ALBANS, Saturday at 1:17 p.m., police made an arrest following a motor vehicle stop on Grant Road.

IN SKOWHEGAN, Saturday at 11:46 a.m., a report of a domestic disturbance was investigated on Milburn Street.

12:25 p.m., a harassment complaint was taken from the Big Apple on Elm Street.

3:12 a.m., a noise complaint was investigated on Crestwood Drive.

Arrests

IN SOMERSET COUNTY, Sunday at 6:48 a.m., Chad Michael Gehrke, 42, of Madison, arrested on a charge of violating a protection order and a probation hold.

9:53 a.m., Lorraine Hodgdon, 25, of Glenburn, arrested on a probation revocation.

IN WATERVILLE, Saturday at 7:38 p.m., Christopher Hellard, 29, of Waterville, arrested on Crestwood Drive on a charge of violating the conditions of release.

9:55 p.m., Jessica E. Hutchins, 28, of Waterville, arrested on Water Street on a warrant.

Sunday at 12:26 a.m., Oliver Nicholson Brown, 20, of New Canaan, Conn., arrested on Washington Street on charges of refusing to submit to arrest, refusing to stop for a police officer, violating the conditions of release and allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor.

12:26 a.m., James Witteneen, 21, of Waterville, arrested on Washington Street on a charge of allowing a minor to consume or possess liquor.
