SIDNEY — The Sidney Historical Society has announced its Buy-A-Brick campaign to raise funds for a veterans monument in the town.

Brick pavers are available in two sizes — four-by-eight inches with three lines of 20 characters each cost $100 or eight-by-eight inches with six lines of text for $200. They can be inscribed in any way. Pavers can honor a veteran or any family member or can be a gift from individuals or businesses. Proceeds will benefit a veterans monument with the names of Sidney men and women who have served their country since the Revolutionary War. Pavers will be placed around the site of the veterans monument, which will be erected between the Town Office and the Grange Hall on Middle Road.

More information about the Buy-A-Brick campaign will by available during a town meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at the James H. Bean School, 2896 Middle Road.
