SOUTH CHINA — Robert Soohey of Whitefield, a senior at Erskine Academy, has been selected to receive the 2013 Principal’s Award.
The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
Soohey, a high honor roll student, is a member of the National Honor Society and the wrestling, cross country, and track and field teams. He received the Rensselaer Medal and has participated in a variety of volunteer opportunities in the community. He is the son of Terri and Bob Soohey of Whitefield.
Soohey will attend an honors luncheon at the Spectacular Event Center in Bangor on Saturday, April 6.
