AUGUSTA — The Kennebec Valley Humane Society will accept art for a contest to be held in conjunction with the Paws in the Park and 20th annual Mutt Strut event set for Saturday, May 18, at Buker Community Center.
Winning artwork will be used on posters, T-shirts, and auctioned off at humane society events and displayed in the community. Artwork will also help promote the Paws in the Park and Mutt Strut event.
The contest entry fee is $10 for students and $20 for adults. Submissions can be drawn, painted, sketched, or created using any other medium, and dropped off at the humane society on Pet Haven Lane or emailed to director@pethavenlane.org. Submissions must be received by April 6.
