AUGUSTA — The University of Maine System Board of Trustees has approved tenure for two University of Maine at Augusta faculty members, Dr. Chelsea Ray and Thomas Giordano. Faculty members from across the state were considered and reviewed by Trustees during today’s meeting.

Ray completed a bachelor’s degree in comparative literature and Russian at Beloit College, a master’s degree at UCLA and her doctorate in comparative literature at UCLA. With tenure, she will become associate professor of French and comparative literature in September.

Giordano is a certified person accountant and a graduate of Bentley College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and Hofstra University with a master of business administration. With tenure, he will become associate professor of accounting in September.
