One driver charged in three-vehicle crash

AUGUSTA — Police continued to investigate a Friday afternoon crash that sent two people to MaineGeneral Medical Center.

One person faces charges from the three-vehicle accident, which occurred around 4:40 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Route 3.

Erin A. Gotay, 35, of Old Town, was charged with operating with a suspended or revoked license and operating under the influence.

No other details about the crash were available Saturday.

AUGUSTA — Two city residents were charged following a motor vehicle crash just before 9 p.m. on Davenport Street Friday.

Eric Paul Dube, 30, was arrested on charges of operating with a suspended or revoked license and leaving the scene of a property-damage accident.

Catherine A. Gerry, 25, of Augusta was issued a summons charging unlawful use of permit.

At 5:36 p.m., a caller from Maple Street reported criminal threatening.

7:12 p.m., a domestic disturbance was reported on Mount Vernon Avenue.

At 2:07 a.m., a 17-year-old juvenile was arrested on a warrant and a probation hold at Motel 6, Edison Drive, following a report of a disturbance or disorderly conduct.

2:21 p.m., a caller reported a disturbance or disorderly conduct on Washington Street.

2:44 p.m., a caller from Shaw’s Plaza, Western Avenue, reported criminal mischief.

At 5:30 p.m., a 50-year-old South China man was summoned on a charge of possession of scheduled drugs following a traffic stop on Route 133.
