3:45 p.m., two people were taken to MaineGeneral Medical Center after a two-vehicle accident on Spring Road. The crash snapped a utility pole and left about 25 customers without power, according to Central Maine Power Co.’s website.

At 9:45 p.m., Kevin James Roberge, 47, of Augusta, was arrested on Washington Street and charged with disorderly conduct/fighting.
10:35 p.m., Megan Higgins, 32, of Augusta, was arrested on Sewall Street on a charge of violating probation.
