CLERMONT, Fla. — Kate Pistel and Katharine Eddy both had five points as the Colby College women’s lacrosse team beat Hamilton College 13-9 in a New England Small College Athletic Conference game Wednesday.
Colby improves to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the conference. The Mules are ranked sixth nationally. Hamilton, ranked 14th, falls to 4-2, 2-2 in the conference.
Pistel had a game-high four goals and added an assist for Colby. Eddy, meanwhile, had three goals and two assists for the Mules. Katie Griffin added three goals, while Lindsey McKenna, Alex Mintz and Hilary Barr all scored for Colby.
Katie D’Antonio had three goals and Rachel Friedman two for Hamilton.
Also Wednesday: Gardiner graduate Kaleb Smith scored a goal in the University of Southern Maine men’s lacrosse team’s 11-8 loss to New England College in Gorham.
