HALLOWELL — Local business will participate in a fundraiser for The Hallowell Food Bank on Saturday.
Participating businesses will have a “Hallowell Feeding Hallowell” poster on display. Merchants will accept donations of cash or checks to benefit the food bank during their normal business hours.
Donations of non-perishable food and non-food items can also be made throughout the year at the food bank, located in the basement of the Hallowell fire station, from 1 to 2 p.m. on Fridays, or from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays-Fridays, at City Hall.
