AUGUSTA — The Maine State Museum in Augusta has announced its schedule of museum gallery programs and activities offered during April school vacation week, April 16-19.

* Tuesday: Made In Maine — An Interactive Tour, 11 a.m.; Birds, Birds, Birds!, 1 p.m.; and History Touch Cart, 2-4 p.m.

* Wednesday: Made In Maine – An Interactive Tour, 11 a.m.; Maine’s Golden Age of Granite Quarrying, 1 p.m.; and Logging Camps, River Drives, and Sawmills, 2:30 p.m.

* Thursday: Ice Harvesting on the Kennebec, 11 a.m.; Relief Rubbings, 1 p.m.; and History Touch Cart, 2-4 p.m.

* Friday: At Home In Maine Attic Games, 10 a.m.-noon; and Relief Rubbings, 1 p.m.

All activities are free with the price of admission, which costs $2 for adults, $1 for adults older than 62 and children age 6-18 and free for children younger than 6. The maximum charge for families if $6. Admission is payable by cash or check only.
