My wife and I went to the Waterville Opera House to see “Spamalot” on April 13.

The play was very good. The actors and actresses did a very good job. We enjoyed the play very much.

The only problem I had with it was at the end of the play the cast brought politics into it. I don’t know about anyone else, but we go to events like that to have an enjoyable evening, not to have politics forced on us. I don’t think it was the proper venue to push someone’s political views on the audience.

If I wanted to hear that I would have stayed home and watched the news. I think it diminished the great job done by all involved with the production.

Let’s keep politics where they belong. By the way, we think Paul LePage is doing a good job.
