MADISON — Emily McKenney had a home run and a double, and pitched five perfect innings to lead the Madison softball team to a 26-0 win over Boothbay in a Mountain Valley Conference game Friday.

McKenney struck out seven to earn her fourth win of the season for Madison (4-0). Sierra LeBlanc added two doubles, a single and five RBIs for the Bulldogs, while Kirsten Wood had a triple, two singles and an RBI. Kayla Bess added two singles and two RBIs, Savanna Kandiko had a double and two singles, and Cristie Vicneire had two singles and three RBIs.

Boothbay falls to 0-3.

Messalonskee 16, Mt. Blue 4: Courtney Veilleux was 5 for 5 as the Eagles beat the Cougars in a KVAC A game in Farmington.

Emily York added a single and a double, while Kylee Knight had four singles for Messalonskee (5-0). Bri Garland added three singles and Nikki Collier, Kai Smith and Phoebe Pelletier each had two.

Sarah Cummings, Caitlin Kane and Kiana Thompson each had two singles for Mt. Blue (0-5).

Winslow 9, Leavitt 2: Ali Leclair had three singles and three RBIs as the Black Raiders beat the Hornets in a KVAC B game in Turner.

Gabby Languet added a single and two RBIs, while Paige Veilleux had a single and an RBI for

Winslow (3-2). Brooke Haskell and Kelsey Houston each had a double. Megan Richards earned the win, allowing one unearned run on three hits, while striking out five and walking none in five innings of work.

Leavitt falls to 0-4.

Nokomis 16, Waterville 1, 5 innings:
The Warriors banged out 15 hits en route to the KVAC B win in Newport.

Danielle George had two doubles while Taylor Lovley doubled and singled and Becky Orcutt, Drew Graves and Ashley Griffin had two hits apiece for Nokomis (3-2).

Gabby Martin had an RBI single for Waterville (1-3).

Brewer 14, Skowhegan 2: Emily Gilmore had a double and two singles, while Alexa Grindle pitched a complete game, and the Witches beat the Indians in a KVAC A game in Skowhegan.

Grindle, Lindsay Houp and Cassie Harvey each had two singles for Brewer (4-0).

Taylor Johnson and Mikayla Toth had two singles each for Skowhegan (3-2).

Oak Hill 16, Carrabec 3: Brooke Lebel had a three-run double and Kelsey Collins added a two-run triple to power the Raiders to the MVC win in North Anson.

Collins finished with four hits and five RBIs while Alyssa Rouleau had three singles to lead Oak Hill (1-2). Sadie Goulet and Sara Noel each added a pair of hits for Oak Hill.

Brooklynne Lewis had a double and a triple for Carrabec (1-2).
