WATERVILLE — Waterville Main Street ninth annual Downtown Celebration is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday on the Concourse.
This special event is designed to honor local businesses and the volunteers that work throughout the year. During the event, Waterville Main Street will honor the Volunteer of the Year, Business of the Year and Board Member of the Year chosen by polls in the community.
The celebration also will include recognition of a section of downtown Waterville that will be officially given the National Historic District Designation.
As a celebration of the accomplishments of the past year, there will be music as well as refreshments from Selah Tea Café, Barrels Community Market, Holy Cannoli, Silver Street Tavern and more.
