WINTHROP — Marlee’s Ride — A Ride 2 Remember, a benefit motorcycle ride, will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday at Peppers Garden and Grill on Main Street.
The ride, a 90-mile “Poker Run”, will start at noon. Following the ride, there will be a barbecue and entertainment by Pat Colwell and the Soul Sensations at Peppers Garden and Grill. Olympic luge racer Julia Clukey will be special guest at the event.
The cost is $20 for drivers and $10 for passengers. Proceeds benefit the Marlee Fund for Scholarships to Julia Clukey’s Summer Camp for Girls at Camp KV in Readfield.
