WATERVILLE — The American Legion will host its 66th annual Dirigo Boys State program June 16-20 at Thomas College. The program encourages other groups and organizations to join together in promoting the program through sponsorship of candidates.
Sponsors of Boys State delegates are traditionally veterans’ organizations, financial institutions, businesses, patriotic, civic, fraternal, labor, teacher or religious groups.
The cost for each student is $275 per session; partial sponsorship is also encouraged. If you would like to be a sponsor for the 2013 Dirigo Boys State Program, contact the local American Legion Post to let them know.
