BRUNSWICK — The Erskine softball team held off a late rally to beat Brunswick 12-11 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Tuesday afternoon.
Alison Gauvin led the Eagles (7-6) with three singles. Taylor Boucher and Alyssa Gartley each had two hits for Erskine. Boucher and Avery Bond each had a double.
Leah Andreotti had three singles for Brunswick (0-14).
Baseball
Brunswick 9, Erskine 5: Adam Casey had a three-run double and the Dragons scored eight runs in the bottom of the third inning to pull away for the KVAC A victory.
Casey had two hits and John Parker earned the win for the Dragons (4-9).
John Suga tripled and singled to lead Erskine (4-9).
