AUGUSTA — Sonja Morse took a perfect game into the seventh inning and finished with a no-hitter as the Cony softball team bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 4-0 win over Mt. Ararat on Thursday.

Morse struck out 13 and walked three to improve to 9-0 this season for Cony (13-1). She also had a home run, a single and drove in a pair of runs.

Kassidy Turgeon and Veronica Woods both added a double for Cony.

Mt. Ararat falls to 4-9.

Oak Hill 6, Wiscasset 3: The Raiders rallied for five runs in the sixth inning wn route to the Mountain Valley Conference win. They collected six of their eight hits in the inning, including three straight doubles and a triple from Sadie Goulet. Brooke LeBel singled and doubled for Oak Hill (11-3) while teammate Alyssa Rouleau singled twice.

 Winning pitcher Korni Michaud fanned five . Hannah Campbell singled and doubled for Wiscasset (3-11) while Heidi Pinkham singled twice.

Winslow 7, Maranacook 2: Megan Richards pitched 6 2/3 perfect innings before allowing a walk, two singles and two runs in the seventh inning as the Black Raiders beat the Black Bears in a KVAC B game in Winslow.

Richards strucko ut four to earn her 10th win of the season for Winslow (10-4). Jessica Pare and Brooke Haskell both doubled for Winslow, while Jen Poulin had a triple and two RBIs.

Ashley Belanger and Kaitlyn Chick each singled for Maranacook (6-8).

Hall-Dale 21, Boothbay 3, 6 innings: The Bulldogs took advantage of seven errors and scored 14 runs in the sixth inning on their way to an MVC win in Boothbay Harbor.

Emily Maynard had a double and a single for the Bulldogs (9-5).

Baseball

Cony 13, Mt. Ararat 1, 5 innings: CHandler Shostak had a two-run home run in the first inning and Mitchell Caron added a two-run double to lead the Rams to the KVAC A victory in Augusta.

Tayler Carrier and Zack Lachance each had two hits for Cony (10-4).

Mt. Ararat dropped to 3-12.

Girls lacrosse

Lewiston 13, Gardiner 11: Kelsie Dumond and Lori Ann Murphy both scored five goals as the Class A Blue Devils beat the Class B Tigers in Gardiner.

Makayla St. Laurent added two goals and Emily Brochu had one for Lewiston (9-2).

Ally Day had six goals and Brooke Davis added four for Gardiner (8-3). Brooke Curtis had one and Maddie Cutler stopped eight shots.

Messalonskee 15, Brunswick 8: Kristen Kern and Sydney Gagne each scored four goals to lead the Eagles to a KVAC A win over the Dragons at Thomas College in Waterville.

Kristy Bernatchez and Allison Fischang added three goals each for Messalonskee (11-0), while goalie Izzy Skinner made seven saves.

Eliza Brooks scored four goals for Brunswick (3-8).

Cony 20, Oxford Hills 10:
Bayleigh Logan scored five goals and had two assists to lead the Rams to a KVAC A win over the Vikings in South Paris.

Haley Quirion has three goals and three assists, while Josie Lee had three goals and an assist for Cony (8-3).

Isabelle Eames made seven saves for the Rams.

Oxford Hills (3-8) was led by Kristen Gamache with four goals.

Boys lacrosse

Maranacook/Winthrop 18, Mtn. Valley 0: Toby Smith scored seven goals and added two assists to lead the Hawks to the Class B win at Kents Hill. Dan Condon added five goals while Zack Glazier scored two along with four assists and Jake Gibson, Kyle Morand, Will Grimes and Logan Emery had one goal each. Jesse Evans recorded five assists.

Zach Bessette made six saves for Maranacook/Winthrop (9-2) while Coyote Freeman made six for Mountsain Valley (1-8).
