FAIRFIELD — Kennebec Valley Community College will host its 18th annual fundraising golf tournament on Monday, June 17, to benefit the educational needs of college students.
The event will be at the Waterville Country Club in Oakland. It will include a luncheon and live auction at noon, an 18-hole scramble and an awards ceremony. Registration begins at 11 a.m., and tee-off is at 1 p.m.
Organized by the KVCC Foundation board of trustees, the golf tournament is part of the annual campaign to raise funds to promote and support all educational programs; to provide state-of-the-art equipment and facilities; and to ensure access through scholarship funds to needy students, according to a news release. Rain date is Tuesday, June 18.
