DAMARISCOTTA — River Arts has put out the call to its membership and prospective members to participate in the annual member exhibition set for 5-7 p.m. June 7.
The exhibition, which will hang until July 7, will display 2-D and 3-D work by more than 100 Maine artists from around the region. River Arts has more than 350 members from Portland to Orono, who enjoy benefits, support emerging artists and help make a wide variety of cultural programs available to the public, according to a news release. All members can submit the work of their choice for hanging in the members’ show. Work can be delivered to the River’s Arts gallery during gallery hours through June 1, at 4 p.m. Entrance forms are available online and at the gallery.
River Arts is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, call 563-1507 or visit www.riverartsme.org.
