WINTHROP — One man was injured when his car went off the road and rolled over several times into a ditch as it entered the State YMCA camp in East Winthrop on Saturday.
Winthrop Fire Chief Dan Brooks said the car’s tires apparently went off the road and into a ditch that had been recently excavated.
Rescue workers had to remove the driver from vehicle by popping the rear hatch.
He was taken to the hospital by ambulance, Brooks said. No other information was available.
