BREWER — Cony collected 13 hits in downing Brewer 10-4 in a showdown of Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A softball powers Tuesday night. Molly Russell led the Rams with three singles, a triple and four RBIs. Arika Brochu added two doubles and a single for Cony while Sonja Morse singled twice.

Morgan Small hit a solo homer for the Witches while Alexa Grindle contributed a three-run double. Morse picked up the pitching win, allowing five hits while walking three and striking out 11. Both teams are 15-1.

Gardiner 7, Belfats 0: Brittany Rollins struck out 13 batters and didn’t issue a walk to lead the Tigers to the KVAC B win. Bri Brochu led Gardiner with a single and double while Kristal Smith added two singels and three RBIs. Rollins, Taylor Banister and Kylee Granholm also singled twice apiece for Gardiner (14-1). Katrina Lapham singled twice for Belfast (6-9).

Hall-Dale 5, Mt. Abram 0: Olivia Maynard struck out nine and allowed just three hits to lead the Bulldogs to the Mountain Valley Conference win in Farmingdale.

Becca Ackerson had a double and a single to lead Hall-Dale (10-6).

Allie Lopez had two hits to lead the Roadrunners (5-11).

Erskine 3, Lawrence 2: Avery Bond plated Taylor Boucher from third on an RBI single to center in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead the Eagles to a KVAC A win in South China.

Bond led Erskine (8-8) with two hits. Alyssa Gartley earned the win, striking out five batters.

Sara Martin struck out six batters for Lawrence (7-9).

Winthrop 16, Wiscasset 0, 5 innings: Cat Ouellette went 2 for 3 and Danielle Pease doubled to lead the Ramblers (9-6) to the MVC victory in Winthrop.

Crissy Doughty pitched a complete game, allowing only two hits, to earn the victory.

Wiscasset, which had seven errors, dropped to 3-11.

Richmond 7, Sacopee Valley 0: Payton Johnson doubled and drove in three runs and Kaylah Patterson had two singles to lead the Bobcats in Hiram.

Jamie Plummer struck out four and allowed just one hit in a complete-game victory for Richmond (14-0).

Sacopee dropped to 3-11.

Messalonskee 15, Lewiston 0, 5 innings: Phoebe Pelletier had two hits, including a double, and Kylee Knight had three singles to lead the Eagles to the KVAC A victory in Oakland.

Jordan Roy pitched four innings, striking out six, to earn the victory for Messalonskee (12-4).

Nikki Collier and Emily York also doubled.

Lewiston dropped to 2-14.

Girls lacrosse

Cony 7, Mt. Ararat 5: Emily Quirion and Bayleigh Logan each scored two goals to lead the Rams to a KVAC A win over the Eagles in Augusta.

Josie Lee had a goal and three assists for Cony, which finishes the regular season with a 9-3 record. Izzy Eames made nine saves for the Rams.

Katie Labbay led Mt. Ararat (6-6) with two goals.

Messalonskee 18, Morse 9: Allison Fischang and Kristy Bernatchez each scored four goals to lead the Eagles to the KVAC A win in Oakland. Sydney Gagne and Kristen Kern each scored three goals for Messalonskee (12-0) while Mikayla Turner added a pair.

Sadia Crosby scored three goals to lead Morse (7-5).

Gardiner 21, Lincoln 4: Brooke Davis scored six goals and Julie Krouse scored three goals and added seven assists to lead the Tigers in Lincoln.

Ally Day scored four goals and Brooke Curtis added three for Gardiner (9-3) as well. Day and Bryce Smith each had three assists.

Bayley Pendleton had 14 saves to lead Lincoln (0-12).
