CAPE ELIZABETH — Ryan Riorden gave up one hit, struck out 11 and walked two as No. 11 Oak Hill defeated No. 6 Cape Eliza-beth 16-0 in five innings in a Western Class B preliminary baseball game Tuesday.
Jake Martin led Oak Hill (9-8) offensively with five RBIs, including a triple. Dalton Therrien, Brady Dion and Parker Asselin each had two RBIs for the Raiders.
Oak Hill plays No. 3 Morse on Thursday in Bath.
Cape Elizabeth ends the season with a 10-7 record.
Camden Hills 8, Gardiner 7: Fifth-seeded Camden jumped out to a 6-1 lead and then held on late to edge No. 12 Gardiner in an Eastern B prelim game.
Chandler Crans had two singles and three RBIs to lead the Windjammers (13-4). Caleb McFarland had an RBI single as well.
Hunter Belanger had a pair of doubles and a single to lead the Tigers (8-9). He also drove in a run. Jensen Orewiler and Frank Chepke each had a pair of singles.
Softball
No. 6 Gray-New Gloucester 9, No. 11 Maranacook 2: Kaitlin Worcester and Anna Knapp each had triples to lead GNG to the Western B prelim victory. The Patriots improved to 12-5.
Ashley Michaud had an RBI single for Maranacook (7-10). Kaitlyn Chick and Lindsay Jackson each had triples for the Black Bears.
