Police responded June 4 to a report of a traffic hazard at the exit 113 construction site on Interstate 95 after an Auburn Concrete cement truck dumped a load of cement on the roadway.
The company sent the driver to clean the mess with a small shovel and push broom, according to a police report.
Pike Industries, the contractor doing the exit 113 construction, used equipment to more speedily remove the debris.
Company officials indicated they would send a bill to Auburn Concrete, according to the police report.

Kristopher Kelley, 29, was arrested on charges of domestic-violence terrorizing, domestic-violence criminal mischief and harassment by telephone. Kelley reportedly sent several text messages to his girlfriend, threatening to kill her, and threw most of her clothing onto the front lawn, causing damage to some of the items.

At 2:31 a.m., Heather Colby, 20, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of domestic-violence assault by police responding to a report of a disturbance on Greenleaf Street.
5:24 a.m., Clarence David Corson, 46, of Norridgewock, was arrested on a warrant at the Kennebec County Jail on State Street.
5:24 a.m., Corey Arthur Getchell, 43, of Winslow, was arrested on a warrant at the jail on State Street.
