LITCHFIELD — Kennebec Land Trust will offer a Summer Children’s Nature Program from 9 a.m. to noon Monday and Tuesday, June 24 and June 25, at the Small-Burnham Conservation Area.
There will be hiking, nature games, craft projects, play time and exploration of a glacial marine clay bank. Activities will be led by Conservation Assistant Nicole Rhodes, Program Director Gina Lamarche and summer interns.
Children will need a change of clothes, a snack, a hat and sunscreen, and should be wearing close-toed shoes or sneakers. Drop-off begins at 8:45 a.m. Children 6-12 are welcome. In the event of rain, the program will be held in the Small/Morris barn.
There is no cost. Registration is required by Monday. For more information, call 377-2848 or visit www.tklt.org.
