WEST POINT, N.Y. — Cadet David Paul Heikkila, son of Miki and Moe Heikkila, of Vassalboro, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on May 25.
Heikkila graduated from Erskine Academy in 2009. While at West Point, he concentrated his studies in defense and strategic studies. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the infantry branch and will report to Fort Bragg, N.C., for his first assignment.
